I am a multimedia artist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Though have been immersed in the fine arts from a young age, I began taking an ecological/justice approach to my work in congruence with my higher education. I approach these environmental justice topics with specific emphasis on global and gendered lenses, acknowledging that environmental injustice is disproportionately felt by women and the indigenous. Additionally, it understands that environmental disaster is transnational, often presented as "hand-me-down" problems from countries in the Global north that are inherited by fragile economies and ecosystems.
My practice began with drawing-based installation and has grown to incorporate many other mediums such as natural dyeing and film photography.
